What you can change
This editor is ideal for filling in forms that aren’t interactive, adding notes or labels, inserting a logo, and covering mistakes or sensitive details with white-out boxes. Everything you add is written permanently into the PDF, so it looks the same in every viewer.
About white-out
A white-out box hides content visually. The original text underneath still exists in the file, so for truly confidential information, use a redaction tool that removes the underlying text — or print and re-scan the page.
Limitations
We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:
- Existing text in the PDF can’t be edited in place — cover it with white-out and add new text on top.
- Added text supports Latin characters (including accents); use an image for other scripts.
- Form fields and annotations from other apps are kept but not editable here.
