About FreeToolsDaily
Everyday file and calculation tools that are free, fast, and respectful of your privacy.
Why we built FreeToolsDaily
Most people need to merge a PDF, shrink a photo or work out a loan EMI a few times a month, and most online tools for those jobs come with strings attached: uploads to unknown servers, sign-up walls, watermarks, misleading download buttons and pages full of pop-ups. We think everyday tools should be simple, honest and private.
How it works
Modern browsers are remarkably capable. FreeToolsDaily uses open-source libraries such as PDF.js, pdf-lib and SheetJS, together with your browser’s own image engine, to process files directly on your device. Your documents aren’t uploaded, so there’s nothing for us to store, and nothing that could leak.
Our principles
- Free and open to everyone. No account is needed for any of our 96 tools.
- Privacy first. Browser-side processing wherever it’s technically possible, and a clear notice whenever it isn’t.
- Honest results. Real conversions, real progress, and plain explanations of each tool’s limitations.
- Respectful advertising. Any ads are clearly labelled, kept away from tool controls, and never disguised as download buttons.
- Accessible design. Keyboard navigation, screen-reader labels, good contrast and layouts that work on any screen size.
Even the heavy tools run on your device
OCR uses Tesseract, video and audio tools use FFmpeg, and the background remover uses an open-source AI model — all compiled to WebAssembly and running in your browser. These engines download once from a public CDN or our site and are then cached. Your files are still processed locally and never uploaded.
Every tool is free, with no premium tier. Explore all 96 tools.
