How it works
How to use the Excel to PDF tool
- 1
Upload a spreadsheet
XLSX, XLS, ODS and CSV files are supported. A preview of each sheet appears instantly.
- 2
Choose sheets and layout
Select which sheets to include, the paper size and orientation, and whether to show gridlines.
- 3
Download the PDF
Each sheet starts on a new page, with page numbers and the header row repeated.
Built for readable tables
FreeToolsDaily lays your data out as a proper table: numbers are right-aligned, the first row can be styled as a header and repeated at the top of every page, and wide sheets automatically switch to landscape and smaller text so all columns fit across the page.
Values, not formulas
The PDF shows each cell exactly as Excel displays it, including formatted dates, currencies and percentages, using the values last calculated when the file was saved.
Limitations
We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:
- Charts, images, cell colours, merged-cell layouts and print areas set in Excel aren't reproduced.
- Sheets with more than 20,000 rows are truncated, and you'll be told when that happens.
- Very wide sheets (more than about 25 columns) get small text; consider exporting fewer columns.
