Privacy Policy
The short version: your files never leave your device. We don't ask for an account, and we don't sell personal data.

1. Files you process
All tools currently on FreeToolsDaily process files locally in your web browser. When you select a PDF, image, document or spreadsheet, it is read into your browser's memory and converted there. Your file contents are not uploaded to FreeToolsDaily's servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them.
Processed files exist only in your browser's memory and are released when you reset the tool, close the tab or leave the page. We never store, log or index file contents, file names, passwords or text you type into tools.
If we introduce a tool that needs server processing in future, that tool will state so clearly before you add a file, explain how long files are kept (a short, automatic deletion window), and this policy will be updated first.
Components downloaded by some tools
A few advanced tools download a processing engine the first time you use them: OCR (Tesseract language data, from cdn.jsdelivr.net and tessdata.projectnaptha.com) and video/audio tools (FFmpeg core, from cdn.jsdelivr.net). The AI background-removal model is served from our own site. As with any web request, those servers can see your IP address and browser type; your files are never sent to them — the engines run locally on your device.
Currency converter
The currency converter requests the latest European Central Bank reference rates from the free Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev). Only the selected base currency is sent — never the amount you type.
2. Information stored on your device
To make the site more convenient, FreeToolsDaily stores a few preferences in your browser's local storage: your theme (light/dark), recently used tools and favourite tools. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time from the homepage or by clearing your browser data.
3. Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and how the site performs (for example page views, approximate country, device type and browser). IP addresses are anonymised. Analytics never receives file contents or anything you type into a tool. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you give consent.
4. Advertising
FreeToolsDaily is free because it shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, and, where you have consented, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising or analytics cookies are used.
5. Server logs
Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. These logs never include file contents, are used only to operate and protect the service, and are kept for a limited period.
6. Contacting us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to respond. Please don't send confidential documents by email.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or India's DPDP Act), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for processing. Because we don't collect accounts or file contents, we hold very little data about you. To make a request, contact hello@freetoolsdaily.com.
8. Children
FreeToolsDaily is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and revise the “Last updated” date above. See also our Cookie Policy and Terms.
