Why does the first conversion take longer?
The first time, your browser downloads the FFmpeg engine (about 30 MB). It’s cached afterwards, so later conversions start almost instantly.
Does WebM play on iPhone?
Recent iOS versions support WebM in Safari, but older devices may not — keep an MP4 copy for broad compatibility.
