How it works
How to use the JSON to CSV tool
- 1
Paste or open JSON
An array of objects works best.
- 2
Choose options
Separator and whether to flatten nested objects.
- 3
Copy or download
The CSV updates as you type.
Smart flattening
Nested objects become dotted column names (address.city), arrays of values are joined with semicolons, and objects with different keys share one set of columns. Common API shapes like { "data": [...] } are handled automatically.
Limitations
We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:
- Very large inputs (over ~20 MB) can be slow to paste.
