Predictable mapping
Elements become keys, repeated elements become arrays, attributes become “@name” keys and mixed text becomes “#text”. External entities are refused for security (protection against XXE attacks).
Limitations
We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:
- DTD entity expansion isn’t supported.
- Element order between different tag names isn’t preserved in JSON objects.

Is my data sent anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded, stored or logged.
Why is my XML invalid?
The error shows the line number — common causes are unclosed tags, unescaped & characters and mismatched tag names.
