How it works

How to use the Extract PowerPoint Images tool

  1. 1

    Upload a PPTX

Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx) files work too.

  2. 2

    Extract

    Every embedded image is collected.

  3. 3

    Download

    Individually or as a ZIP.

Original files, untouched

Office files are ZIP containers that store inserted pictures as separate files. FreeToolsDaily reads them directly, so you get the exact originals — usually higher resolution than what’s visible on the slide.

Limitations

We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:

  • Cropping applied in PowerPoint isn’t applied to the extracted original.
  • Charts and SmartArt aren’t images and aren’t extracted.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything runs inside your browser on your own device, so your files are never sent to FreeToolsDaily or anyone else.

Can I convert PowerPoint to PDF here?

Not yet — faithful slide rendering needs desktop software. In PowerPoint, use File › Save As › PDF.
