PNG or JPG?
PNG is lossless, so text and line art stay perfectly crisp with no compression artefacts — best for documents, charts and screenshots. JPG files are smaller and better for scanned photos. Use PDF to JPG when file size matters more than sharpness.
Limitations
We’d rather be upfront about what this tool can’t do yet:
- PNG files are larger than JPG, especially at 300 DPI.
- Pages are rendered on a white background.
